Job summary

Chapeltown Citizens Advice in Leeds is seeking a Training and Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of training for staff and volunteers across our local VCSE partnerships. The role supports two Advice first aid trainers, drives new project mobilisation and leads recruitment and onboarding of volunteers with line managers.

You will develop training plans, use client insights to tailor programmes, and ensure CPD and accreditation requirements are met in a dynamic, community-focused

Responsibilities

Based In An Inner City Multi-racial Area Of Leeds, Chapeltown Citizens Advice Is An Independent Charity With 20 Paid Staff And 35 Volunteers That Provides a Comprehensive Advice Service From Its Main Office And Outreaches.

We Have a Vacancy For The Following

Training and Development manager

Key Responsibilities Within This Role Will Include

• Along with two Advice first aid / community advice trainers (1.4 fte) work with local infrastructure organisations to create and deliver advice first aid training for local VCSE organisations
• Support with new project mobilisation
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers into the organisation & developing training plans alongside line managers
• Supporting line managers and teams with identified areas of development required
• Use key insights (advice trends, client feedback etc) to create and deliver focused training across a range of delivery methods to ensure accessibility
• Support the organisation to comply with accreditation requirements (AQS, SQM, QAA and others), ensuring all CPD requirements are met and mandatory training is completed

Hours: 36.25 full time

Location: Chapeltown, Leeds

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £30,900
