This growing tech business is building secure, modern cloud environments that power critical operations. They’re strengthening their engineering team with someone who can help shape, refine, and evolve their private cloud platform.

Role Overview

Location: Farnborough
Rate: Up to 550/day
Outside IR35
Industry: Secure technology / cloud infrastructure

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Designing and enhancing a private cloud platform built on VMware Cloud Foundation.
  • Turning business and technical requirements into scalable, well-structured VCF architectures.
  • Planning capacity and producing compliant designs across compute, storage, networking, and edge components.
  • Supporting and improving high-security virtualised environments used for collaboration and development.
  • Standing up VCF deployments and driving automation across the platform.
  • Integrating platform services and maintaining clear templates and operating procedures for wider teams.
Main Skills Needed
  • Strong infrastructure or platform engineering experience, ideally with VCF exposure.
  • Good understanding of data‑centric security concepts.
  • Solid grounding across networking, storage, operating systems, monitoring and logging.
  • Bonus: knowledge of MOD environments, systems, or assurance processes.
