Overview

As part of our Compliance and Reviewer Services Team, you’ll be the first point of contact for our NMC Visitors (external reviewers), delivering high-quality administrative support and fostering strong relationships across the organisation. Your work will directly contribute to the assurance of nursing and midwifery education across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for NMC Visitors (external reviewers), delivering high-quality administrative support and fostering strong relationships across the organisation.
  • Deliver administrative support and coordination to ensure efficient external quality assurance reviews of nursing and midwifery education and training programmes, in collaboration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Support the Visitor Services function to ensure a positive, professional experience for reviewers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience of providing proactive administration and coordination support with a passion for customer service.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own work in a structured and well-planned way.
  • Experience in supporting the recruitment and selection of others is desirable.

  • We are advertising for a Governance Support Officer at 0.5FTE at the same band. We expect to appoint separately to the two roles, but we could consider combining them into a single full-time role for an exceptional candidate who wished to do that.
