Visiting Dance Teachers (VDTs) at New Hall School are responsible for sourcing their own resources and repertoire. The Head of Dance will support VDTs in creating their own timetables; all Dance Teachers will have the same set rate for all 1‑1 lessons and group classes. A nominal charge is payable to the School in exchange for promotion of their services and use of the School’s facilities. VDTs are expected to report on student progress to parents/guardians. Opportunities to support or lead dance activity or workshops may be available; this is remunerated separately.

New Hall School offers an exceptional working environment. The main campus occupies the stunning Grade I listed former Tudor palace of Beaulieu. The School’s conference and events venue is at the Grade I listed Boreham House, one mile away. New Hall is a warm, welcoming, and supportive community, with a staff of around 300.

Beaulieu Park railway station is at the entrance to New Hall’s Avenue: 30 minutes to Stratford and 38 minutes to London Liverpool Street. The Elizabeth Line from Shenfield (13 minutes by train) terminates at Heathrow airport. Nearby airports include London Stansted, London Southend and London City.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until midday, Monday 12 January 2026.

New Hall is committed to safeguarding students. An enhanced DBS check will be conducted prior to appointment.
