Vice President of Strategic Accounts – AV

A leading global agency specialising in communications, marketing, and events for the AV sector is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Accounts to lead and grow a high-profile business unit. This senior role combines client leadership, commercial growth, and team development, providing a unique opportunity to make a strategic impact in a thriving and innovative agency.

About the role:

The VP of Strategic Accounts will oversee a portfolio of key AV clients, ensuring consistent delivery, exceptional client satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes. This role also has a clear remit for new business growth, including leading pitches, nurturing lapsed accounts, maximising upsell opportunities, and representing the agency at global industry events.

As the public face of the business unit, you will attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen relationships and expand the agency’s presence in the AV sector. You will provide strategic counsel to the leadership team, delivering market insights and thought leadership while fostering collaboration across regional teams.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of high-profile AV clients, ensuring consistent delivery and measurable results
  • Drive new business growth and revenue targets, leading pitches and identifying upsell opportunities
  • Represent the agency at global events, trade shows, and conferences, enhancing visibility and building strategic partnerships
  • Provide senior-level guidance and strategic insights to clients and internal teams
  • Lead, mentor, and develop senior account teams, promoting collaboration, engagement, and high performance
  • Maintain deep sector knowledge and act as a thought leader through public speaking, commentary, and professional engagement
  • Deliver regular reporting on client health, business performance, and growth opportunities
