Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a lively Reception Host to greet guests, guide them to self-check-in, and ensure a warm, human welcome throughout their stay. You will handle guest queries and use emotional intelligence to smooth over issues on the spot.

You will also upsell Food & Beverage, meetings, and events, while maintaining high standards in front-of-house operations and cash handling. This role is on-site in the UK with hotel teams.

Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Owning the lobby and guiding guests to the self-check-in terminals with a warm, friendly face.
• The Problem Solving: Turn complaints into wins; handle issues on the spot with empathy to defuse tension.
• The Commercial Hustle: Upsell Food & Beverage, meetings and events to guests during their stay.
• The Operations: Manage cash securely and keep front-of-house areas tidy and briefing-ready.
