Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a friendly Reception Host to greet guests, guide them to self-check-in terminals, and ensure a vibrant, human welcome. Your role will involve turning issues into positive experiences with empathy and efficiency, while promoting on-site Food & Beverage, meetings, and events.

You will maintain high front-of-house standards, handle cash securely, and participate in briefings to stay informed about building occupancy and services.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel reception or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to handle cash and front desk processes.
• Comfortable with self-check-in terminals and guest assistance.

Responsibilities

• Own the lobby as the ultimate host, guiding guests to self-check-in and providing a warm welcome.
• Turn complaints into positives on the spot with calm communication and quick problem-solving.
• Upsell Food & Beverage, meetings, and events to guests to enhance their stay.
• Maintain front-of-house standards, manage cash securely, and stay updated with hotel briefings.
