Pets at Home Gloucester Barnwood Vets for Pets is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Advisor to join a supportive team near Gloucester town centre. You will be the primary link between clients and the clinical team, greeting clients, managing bookings and payments, and ensuring a warm, welcoming visit for every pet and owner.

Experience in a veterinary reception is preferred but not essential; we value calm, organised individuals with a can-do attitude, who love animals and thrive

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Advisor If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, enjoy working collaboratively, and have a genuine passion for animal care, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join Gloucester Barnwood Vets for Pets, with an immediate start available. This standalone practice is ideally located just five minutes from Gloucester town centre and offers onsite parking. You'll be working alongside a supportive and experienced team, including one Head Clinical Care Advisor, two Clinical Care Advisors, four full-time vets, a Practice Manager, three RVNs, one VCA, and two Student Nurses.

What your typical day will look like:

• Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team.
• Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
• Your great client service during a client's visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
• You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently.
• Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.
• Previous veterinary experience desirable but not essential.

This is a full-time working 40 hours per week with shifts between 8am & 7pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturday between 8am & 5pm - The salary will be in line with the National Minimum Wage

• Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
