Job summary

Vets for Pets Grantham is seeking a welcoming receptionist to join our team. You will greet clients and their pets, guide them through services, and ensure a smooth visit from arrival to payment. Strong communication and computer literacy are essential, with the online booking system used daily.

This full-time role covers 40 hours per week, including four 10-hour weekdays and one in three Saturday mornings, paid as overtime. Prior experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.

We're proud of our standalone practice which holds RCVS GP status as part of the Practice Standards Scheme, locally owned by Veterinary Surgeon, Lee Middleton. What your typical day will look like

Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.

Your great client service during a client's visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.

You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.

This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours per week, including 4x 10 hour weekdays between 8:30-6:30. This will include working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, paid as overtime, between 8:30 and 12noon.

Previous experience in a customer facing role is preferred.
