Inspiring Vet Care in North Devon (Market Vets) is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our two-site mixed practice. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) covers appointment bookings, enquiries, client communications, and processing payments, with GDPR-compliant record keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients and their pets with a friendly, compassionate, and helpful demeanor.
• Efficiently manage the diary to maximise appointment slots, handle online bookings, and address emergencies while maintaining client records in GDPR compliance.
• Answer busy phone lines, emails, and other client communications.
• Register clients for the Pet Health Club.
• Process payments.
