Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join Penmellyn Vets, St. Columb Major, on a full-time fixed-term basis to cover 6 months. You will be the first point of contact, welcoming clients and caring for patients, ensuring a professional and compassionate experience.

The role covers managing appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting colleagues to deliver a five-star client journey. 37.5 hours over four days with one Saturday in four is required.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Penmellyn Vets, St. Columb Major on a full-time fixed-term basis to cover 6 months.

Join Penmellyn Vets, a six-site practice in beautiful mid-Cornwall. Our friendly front-of-house team is at the heart of the client experience, welcoming clients and caring for patients every day. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours over a 4-day week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays.
