Job description

Rowe Veterinary Group is seeking three dedicated individuals to join us as Receptionists at our busy Bradley Stoke veterinary hospital sites. As a valued member of the reception team, you will be the first point of contact for pets and their owners. The ideal candidate will be professional, efficient, and possess a welcoming and sympathetic manner. Excellent customer service skills, proficient IT knowledge, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a love of animals are essential.

Your duties

1. Greeting clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
2. Booking, cancelling, and changing appointments
3. Handling queries by phone, email, and face-to-face promptly and professionally
4. Advising clients on preventative healthcare products, Pet Healthcare Plans, and pet insurance
5. Dispensing medications and prescriptions
6. Processing payments, cashing up, and performing general admin and reception duties

You will join a well-established team of over 30 Veterinary Surgeons, experienced nursing staff, and a supportive team.

The rota

We are hiring three individuals and offer three shift pattern options. Please specify which rota pattern you are applying for in your application:

1. Rota 1 (20 hours): Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 4 pm - 8 pm; Tuesday off; 2 in 4 Saturdays 8 am - 5 pm; Sunday off.
2. Rota 2 (25 hours): Monday 2 pm - 7 pm; Tuesday off; Wednesday, Thursday 7:30 am - 1:30 pm; Friday 4 pm - 8 pm; 1 in 4 Saturdays 8 am - 5 pm; Sunday off.
3. Rota 3 (25 hours): Monday 8 am - 1 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 1 pm - 7 pm; Thursday off; 1 in 4 Saturdays 8 am - 5 pm; Sunday off.
