Market Veterinary Centre, Barnstaple, Barnstaple, South West

We are looking for a Part time receptionist to join our friendly team at Market vets on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering excellent client and patient care.

The Receptionist role includes the following responsibilities:

• Warmly greeting clients and their pets with a friendly, compassionate, and helpful demeanour
• Efficiently managing the diary to maximize appointment slots, handle online bookings, and address emergencies while maintaining client records in compliance with GDPR
• Answering busy phone lines, emails, and other client communications
• Registering clients for the Pet Health Club
• Processing payments

We are looking for someone who is pro-active with exceptional communication skills, has great attention to detail and will enjoy a fast-paced busy environment whilst providing excellent customer care.

This is a part-time position working 15 hours a week across Friday’s and Saturday's.
