Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our Lincolnshire practice on a full-time fixed-term basis for 12 months. You will welcome clients, manage appointments, handle enquiries, and support both clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure a smooth client and patient journey.

The role requires excellent communication, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work in a busy environment with a supportive team. A positive, proactive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with strong service.
• Organised, personable and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Friendly, patient and professional interaction with clients.

Responsibilities

• Represent the surgery as the first point of contact for clients.
• Manage appointments and enquiries; assist with client communications.
• Handle payments and process prescriptions and bookings.
• Input patient data into the database; update appointment weights and requests.
• Cash handling and card payments; assist with insurance claims.
• Maintain a clean, inviting reception area and support the veterinary team.
