Vets Now in Belfast is seeking a Weekend Veterinary Nurse to join our emergency care team. This role offers weekend shifts with competitive pay and a chance to expand ECC knowledge while earning a second income or balancing family commitments.

The nursing team handles triage, surgery, anaesthesia and in-patient care. RCVS registration is required, and you will benefit from CPD support, private medical insurance, enhanced sick pay and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Up to £20ph DOE plus benefits

Working hours:

Week 1: Saturday from 12:00 to 19:30 and Sunday from 08:30 to 19:30

Week 2: Off

Week 3: Off

Week 4: Saturday and Sunday from 19:00 to 09:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
