Job summary

Vets Now Worcester is seeking a Weekend Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated emergency team. You will support triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care across weekend shifts, handling ECC caseloads with compassion and clinical excellence.

RCVS registered for at least six months is required, and you will be supported to develop professionally with ECC certificates and a comprehensive CPD package. Benefits include private medical insurance, enhanced sickness and maternity pay, generous

• RCVS registration for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• First Aid - give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care - management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Up to £17ph DOE plus benefits

Working hours:

Week 1: Off

Week 2: Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30 and Sunday from 08:30 to 18:30

Week 3: Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30 and Sunday from 08:30 to 18:30

Week 4: Off

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
