Job summary

Vets Now is seeking a weekend veterinary nurse to join our emergency team in the UK. You will work Saturdays from 12:00 to 19:30 and Sundays from 08:30 to 19:30, with additional bank holidays.

The role focuses on ECC care, triage, surgery, anaesthesia and in-patient nursing, with opportunities to enhance ECC knowledge and gain a broader income while balancing family commitments.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered for at least six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for clients and their pets.
• ECC caseload experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• First Aid – provide advise over the phone and in clinic.
• Critical Care – monitor and manage in-patient care and major body systems.
• Diagnostics – perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

• First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.

• Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
