Weekend Veterinary Nurse – Bournemouth

Up to £19ph DOE plus benefits

Working hours:

Week 1: Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30

Week 2: Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30

Week 3: Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30 and Sunday from 09:00 to 19:00

Week 4: Off

Week 5: Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30

Week 6: Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30

Understanding your key role

Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

• First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
