Job summary

Vets Now is seeking a Sunday Veterinary Nurse in Cheltenham for a weekend role, with every other Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00 and bank holidays. The position offers up to £17ph DOE plus benefits to support your ECC development and clinical progression.

You will join a team responsible for triage, surgery, anaesthesia and in-patient care, with access to ECC training and CPD, including private medical insurance and generous leave packages.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.
