A wildlife conservation charity in Edinburgh is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to carry out nursing duties aligned with animal welfare strategies. Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, providing mentoring, and administering medications. The ideal candidate holds an RCVS qualification and has practical experience in a zoo environment. This fixed-term role for 3 months offers a salary starting at £28,000, 34 days annual leave, and other employee benefits including free entry to the zoo for staff and family.

This is an exciting role to support the development, implementation, and on-going delivery of animal welfare assessments and related projects and research at Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park.
To carry out veterinary nursing duties in support of our animal welfare strategy and to deliver an excellent quality service in line with agreed procedures and service standards, in support of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) vision and mission.
