Medivet is seeking a Client Care Assistant to be the first point of contact for client calls and visits, delivering exceptional care to clients, patients and colleagues.

You will carry out reception duties, triage emergencies, manage the practice diary and ensure online appointment slots are available. Weekly 1 in 4 Saturday shifts at Whitchurch and a bank-holiday rota to support Shrewsbury 24, with a supportive team environment and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• You’re skilled at providing exceptional client facing care and reception duties.
• You have good numeracy and experience with online appointment booking systems.
• You are a team player who supports colleagues and values the practice culture.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greeting clients and updating records.
• Triage emergency appointments and contact/rearrange clients as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability.
• Answer client calls and manage messages.
• Ensure online booking slots are available to book.
• Process repeat prescription orders.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• 1 in 4 Saturday shifts at Whitchurch.
• Bank holiday rota to support Shrewsbury 24.
