Job summary

Medivet Group is seeking a Client Care Assistant in the UK. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling reception duties, triaging emergencies, and managing the practice diary.

You will also handle phone calls, online bookings, and prescription requests while working as part of a supportive team. A background as a veterinary receptionist is desirable, with a focus on delivering exceptional care to clients, patients, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong reception skills and client-facing care.
• Good numeracy skills and experience with online appointment booking systems.
• Team player with the ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt; veterinary receptionist experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greet clients on arrival, and update records.
• Triage emergency appointments and contact clients to rearrange as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages.
• Ensure online booking slots are available for clients.
• Process repeat prescription order requests.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• 1 in 4 Saturday shifts at Whitchurch; bank holiday rota for Shrewsbury.
