Job summary

inspiring vet care in Oakham is seeking a Receptionist to join the team on a part-time permanent basis. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience, while supporting appointment bookings and enquiries.

The role involves working 30 hours per week with evenings and Saturdays on a rota, in a collaborative practice alongside a nursing team and clinicians. Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients and clinical staff to provide high levels of customer care.
• Meeting and greeting clients and their pets.
• Booking appointments and diary management.
• Managing telephone and email enquiries.
• Taking payment for services and products.
• Managing cash and end-of-day banking.
• Maintaining a clean and safe space for clients and pets.
• Supporting daily banking and debt management processes
