Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist for Lockwood Vets on a part-time fixed-term basis covering 6 months. You will be the first point of contact for clients, managing appointments, handling enquires, and supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure a smooth client and patient journey.

The role is 30 hours over 5 days per week with a mix of morning and late shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Taking phone calls, answering queries and booking appointments.
• Greeting clients and their pets on arrival.
• Check-in patients and verify their information.
• Update patient records and ensure attention to detail.
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Dispensing medication.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and consult rooms.
• Administration duties such as emails and signing up clients to our Pet Health Plan.
