Job summary

inspiring vet care in Oakham is seeking a Receptionist to join the team on a part‑time basis. You will be the friendly first point of contact for clients, handling appointments, enquiries and payments with a professional, compassionate approach.

You’ll work with an experienced team of eight Veterinary Surgeons and a nursing team of fifteen to ensure a smooth client and patient journey, with shifts including Tuesdays until 8pm, Fridays all day, and Saturday ro tor Basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and a professional, welcoming manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients and clinical staff to provide high-level customer care.
• Meeting and greeting clients and pets.
• Booking appointments and diary management.
• Managing telephone and email enquiries.
• Taking payment for services and products.
• Maintaining a clean and safe space for clients and their pets.
