A leading sports event management company is seeking a Venue Management Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of operations for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and drafting key documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in stakeholder management and project management, with strong communication and organizational skills. This position offers a fixed-term contract with a 40-hour work week, based in Glasgow.

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager for Trivandi’s delivery, the Venue Management Coordinator will support the integrated planning of Games-time operations through the OC-provided planning processes for one of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games competition venue. This role will be required to support the coordination, planning and delivery of Overlay, Organising Company operations, and external stakeholder delivery into one team, including production of regular reporting to meet Organising Committee governance requirements.

You will play a key part in supporting the integrated planning and delivery of venue operations, working closely with a range of stakeholders to help deliver a range of services across the venue. Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and organisational skills are essential to the delivery of this role.
Working Arrangements
The role will commence in the Organising Company’s Glasgow city centre office, with visits required to competition venues to fully deliver the responsibilities of the role. The location for the role will transition to being based at a competition venue as we approach the Games.
The role will be contracted for 40 hours per week, with requirements to be in the office aligned to the Organising Company’s planned working pattern. All travel to your place of work will be at your own cost. During the Games Operational period, shift patterns are likely to be required which could include weekends.
