The Venue Cleaning Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth delivery of cleaning services in our public areas and entertainment venues across the resort. Reporting to the Venue Cleaning Manager, this role ensures that daily operational plans are fulfilled by overseeing team tasks and objectives, managing team placement, and maintaining high standards of operation and guest experience.
Responsibilities include leading and monitoring team members responsible for cleaning entertainment venues after shows, maintaining toilet facilities, moving and resetting venue furniture, and performing high-level cleaning at heights using industrial equipment for indoor and outdoor areas. The role also involves coaching the team to deliver excellent service, driving key metrics related to our Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) standards, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
You will oversee cleaning operations during your shift, ensuring adherence to CAFF standards. You will monitor NPS scores and implement proactive improvements, conduct quality checks, analyze reports, and lead feedback discussions. Additionally, you will manage training, onboarding, performance management, and HR processes for your team.
You should set clear objectives, support team surveys, uphold brand standards, and ensure health and safety compliance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive operational experience managing cleaning or soft services teams, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly. High standards, attention to detail, and experience leading both permanent and temporary teams are essential. Excellent communication, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving skills are also required.
