Chopstix Shift Manager

Description

We're looking for a Shift Manager to join the team at our new venue Chopstix!

Whether it's to start your day right, a quick bite to eat for lunch, or an after dinner snack after a show, as a Shift Manager you'll be vital in helping our guests create smiles - getting stuck in to give them memories that will last a lifetime! You'll be part of a big team responsible for providing our guests with a fun and entertaining experience.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for role-model behaviour by leading as a visible presence, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, supporting the manager in daily operations such as team management, analysing KPI and stock control systems to maximise profit, and ensuring compliance with brand standards, food safety, and health & safety policies.

You should have a passion for supporting the Venue Manager, leading by example, and inspiring others to deliver memorable guest experiences. You will also foster team fulfillment through regular 121s and PDP discussions to support their development and career growth. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as no two days are the same, and guest experience is always your top priority.

Please Note:

To be considered, you need to be available to start W/C 19th May and participate in two weeks of essential training away from the resort.

This role involves a 5-day workweek over 7 days, requiring flexibility with various shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities

We seek a passionate leader with strong knowledge of the Chopstix brand (or similar high street quick service food brands) or a willingness to learn. You will focus on team experience while ensuring guest satisfaction remains central to your decisions.

Previous experience in a busy restaurant or food service environment, where speed and quality are crucial, is preferred. You should be confident in responding to situations and maintaining brand standards.

Leadership skills are vital; you should be able to motivate and engage your team, especially during peak times, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Your ability to inspire your team to deliver excellent results daily will be key.
