We are looking for a Shift Manager to work in our Shops Venues across the resort. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by overseeing that relevant tasks and objectives are carried out by the team. The role requires ensuring the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining high operational standards and guest experience.
You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions. This is an operational, guest-facing role, and non-guest facing tasks will be allocated within your working week to maximize your time within your venue and with guests.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is essential. As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same. You will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting involved, and prioritizing guest experience.
We seek an experienced leader from a Food & Beverage (F&B) environment who can support the team in delivering excellent service. You should prioritize guest satisfaction, have experience in training and coaching teams in a fun-filled environment, and deliver an excellent experience.
You should have previous experience leading in a busy retail environment where speed and quality are both important. Confidence in directing and responding to various situations while maintaining brand standards is essential.
The ability to motivate, lead, and engage your team, especially during peak times, is crucial. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing requirements. Strong leadership skills are necessary to inspire your team to achieve excellent results for both colleagues and guests.
