Job summary

A leading technology consultancy is looking for a commercially savvy Vendor Manager to lead relationships with Microsoft and other key vendors. Responsibilities include managing vendor meetings, delivering joint business plans, and tracking KPIs. The ideal candidate should have experience with Microsoft programmes and excellent relationship management skills. This is a full-time position based in the United Kingdom with a home-based option and travel involved.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft programmes, incentives, and funding.
  • Excellent relationship building and commercial skills.

Microsoft Vendor Manager

Salary : Up to Car Allowance 10% Bonus

Location : Home-based with travel 12 days / week (ideally near London, Birmingham, Worcestershire or Manchester)

We’re looking for a commercially savvy Vendor Manager to lead strategic relationships with Microsoft and other key vendors. You’ll be the internal Microsoft specialist driving growth through partner programs, incentives, and joint business planning. If you speak the Microsoft language and know how to navigate their ever‑evolving ecosystem, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage relationships with Microsoft and other strategic vendors
  • Lead vendor meetings, QBRs and pipeline reviews
  • Build multi‑level relationships from C‑suite to operational teams
  • Deliver joint business plans and track KPIs
  • Manage Microsoft Partner Center activities: CPOR, Designations, Specialisations
  • Identify and activate vendor programmes, rebates and MDF opportunities
  • Support audits, training plans and marketing fund applications
  • Advise stakeholders on vendor strategy, risks and opportunities
  • Report monthly on vendor performance and funding impact
Essential Skills
  • Experience managing Microsoft vendor relationships ideally from an MSP or distributor
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft programmes, incentives, CPOR, MDF / CO‑OP funding
  • Familiarity with HPE vendor programmes is a plus
  • Excellent relationship building, commercial and project management skills
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
