Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Grays is seeking a Technical Quality Coach - Commercial to deliver quality assurance across the DVSA Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme. You will coach assessors, analyse data, and support investigations to uphold high testing standards.

You will work with Delivery Managers and Leads to drive quality improvements and ensure consistent customer outcomes. A Civil Service culture and professional advisory skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance across testing schemes to ensure DVSA standards.
• Coaching and mentoring to improve testing quality and competency.
• Analyze quality and performance data to identify trends and risks.
• Support appeals and investigations, site suitability activities.
• Assist in authorisation and ongoing suitability of ATFs with technical assurance.
• Promote continuous improvement and service excellence in the Quality Centre.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme to ensure compliance with DVSA standards, policies and operating instructions.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to improve testing quality, consistency and competency.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support appeals, complaints investigations, technical inspections and site suitability activities.
• Support the authorisation, review and ongoing suitability of Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs), providing technical assurance and recommendations to support service delivery.
• Contribute to the Quality Centre of Excellence by promoting continuous improvement and service excellence.
