Job summary

Government Recruitment Service seeks a Technical Quality Coach - Commercial to ensure high standards across DVSA vehicle testing. You will provide professional, customer-focused guidance to internal and external stakeholders and work closely with Delivery Managers and Technical Quality Leads to drive quality improvements.

You will coach Vehicle Standards Assessors, support testing accuracy and consistency, and help deliver trusted, safe services across the national operation.

Qualifications

• Deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to improve testing quality, consistency and competency.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support appeals, complaints investigations, technical inspections and site suitability activities.
• Support the authorisation, review and ongoing suitability of Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs).
• Promote continuous improvement and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme to ensure compliance with DVSA standards, policies and operating instructions.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to improve testing quality, consistency and competency.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support appeals, complaints investigations, technical inspections and site suitability activities.
• Support the authorisation, review and ongoing suitability of ATFs, providing technical assurance and recommendations to support service delivery.
• Contribute to the Quality Centre of Excellence by promoting continuous improvement and service excellence.
