Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• 1–2 years of practical post-qualification experience.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs to manufacturer's standards.
• Identify faults and report vehicle condition to Workshop Manager.
• Maintain documentation and work to deadlines.
• Follow quality, health and safety procedures.
• Work within a large team to meet targets.

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable German specialist independent automotive service centre in Pontyclun, seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team.

This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career within a well-established business offering career progression and ongoing training.

• Competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
• Overtime paid additionally - 20 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, with a day off in lieu for any bank holidays worked

• Working hours of
  42.5 per week: Monday to Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm and Friday 7:45am-5:00pm Duties:
• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs to the manufacturer’s standards
• Accurately identify faults and report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Workshop Manager
• Adhere strictly to quality, health, and safety procedures laid down by the client and vehicle manufacturer
• Work within a large team to meet targets and deliver high-quality workmanship
• Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation and work to deadlines Requirements:
• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• At least 1-2 years of practical experience post-qualification
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Be committed, reliable, and a team player
• Capable of delivering high standards of work in a busy environment
• Motivation as a Vehicle Technician to work towards team and individual targets
• An active Class 4/7 MOT license would be advantageous
