Job summary

Unknown is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. The role offers a competitive basic salary with uncapped on-target earnings and overtime bonuses, in a Monday-to-Friday setup with some Saturdays paid as overtime.

The ideal candidate will have IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a full UK driving licence. Training programmes are available, with long-term career development within a reputable dealership group.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on vehicles to manufacturer standards.

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and completing documentation thoroughly.
• Assisting with additional technical tasks as required by the Service Department.

Vehicle Technician Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership based in Tewkesbury, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.

• Carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
• Accurately diagnosing faults and reporting vehicle conditions, safety, and performance issues to the Workshop Controller
• Adhering to quality procedures and safety protocols at all times
• Ensuring efficient workflow within the workshop to meet targets
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and completing documentation thoroughly
• Assisting with additional technical tasks as required by the Service Department
• IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent - 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a workshop environment preferred
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• A team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to produce high-quality work consistently in a busy franchise environment
