Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a reputable family-run franchise-approved car dealership in Bridgend for a Vehicle Technician role. The successful candidate will diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards and contribute to a busy, professional workshop.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £38,000, an OTE via bonus scheme, 22 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, healthcare provisions, a pension, and full manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Bridgend
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong team player with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work to high standards in a busy workshop environment
• Organised, methodical, and committed to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to management
• Ensure repairs and diagnostics meet safety, reliability, and performance requirements
• Adhere to health & safety protocols and quality procedures at all times
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and organisation within the workshop
• Work efficiently within a franchise dealer-approved environment
• Collaborate as part of a friendly, professional team to deliver exemplary customer service
