Diagnosis of faults on light commercial and 4x4 vehicles, routine servicing to manufacturer standards, and mentoring colleagues are key responsibilities. A minimum 3–4 years' experience and a valid UK licence are required, with MOT certification advantageous.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum).
• 3–4 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• MOT certification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults efficiently and accurately on light commercial and 4x4 vehicles.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards as a Vehicle Technician.
• Report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance issues to the Workshop Controller.
• Adhere to health & safety and quality procedures at all times.
• Contribute to a team environment by sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
• Ensure a high standard of workmanship in a busy franchise-approved dealership setting.
• Assist in achieving team targets and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Our client, a reputable independent commercial vehicle dealership in Tredegar, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. • Competitive starting salary around £32,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience
