Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Treforest, Rhondda Cynon Taf, for a Vehicle Technician role. The position offers a starting salary around £30,000 per annum with a bonus scheme and a 4-day rota across 40 hours per week.

You will join a well-established dealer group, with full manufacturer accredited training and long-term career prospects in South Wales, backed by a pension and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 3+ years post-qualification experience preferred.
• MOT licence advantageous and willingness to undertake manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis and perform engine-based repairs.
• Complete routine servicing and repairs as required.
• Accurately identify faults and communicate findings to the Workshop Controller.
• Ensure all work complies with quality standards, health & safety regulations, and manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services.
• Contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the Service Department.
• Support team members and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years practical post-qualification experience preferred
• Ideally qualified to Diagnostic or Master Technician level
• Current UK driving licence
• Active MOT licence advantageous
• Strong team player with commitment to high-quality work
• Capable of working efficiently in a busy environment and meeting targets
• Willingness to undertake manufacturer-approved training
