Perfect Placement UK Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their franchise-approved Repair Centre in Llandow. You will diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, you will benefit from a competitive salary (£30,000–£40,000), a monthly bonus (~£400), overtime pay, and a comprehensive training programme with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• IME/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• 1–2 years post-qualification experience in a busy dealership
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal endorsements
• MOT Smart Card is advantageous but not essential
• Experience in vehicle electronics/diagnosis or light commercial vehicles is desirable

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Ensure safety, reliability and performance through precise diagnostics
• Follow manufacturer and company procedures to complete work to high standards
• Record vehicle conditions and report issues to the Service Manager
• Maintain a tidy and organised workshop environment
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality procedures
• Assist with vehicle road testing and complete relevant documentation
• Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and technical updates

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their reputable franchise-approved Repair Centre in Llandow. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.

Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Monthly performance-related bonus averaging £400 (£4,800 annually)
• Additional pay for overtime at time and a half
• 22 days annual holiday entitlement, increasing to 23, 24, and 25 days after 1, 3, and 5 years of service respectively, plus bank holidays
