  • Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work.
  • Support the workshop with inspections and pre-MOT preparation.
  • Maintain clear, accurate job documentation and follow workshop processes.
  • Work closely with colleagues to organise repairs, workflow, and customer jobs.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and the working environment in good order.
  • Once qualified, perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.

Vehicle Technician (MOT Training Provided) – Lincoln, Lincolnshire (LN2 area). To £32,000 per annum.

About the Role

Youll be carrying out a mix of servicing, inspections, fault-finding, and repair work on a range of vehicles all within a well-equipped workshop. Alongside your usual day-to-day technician duties, youll be supported through full MOT tester training, giving you the chance to develop your skills and gain a recognised qualification.

The role suits someone who enjoys variety, works neatly, and communicates clearly. Youll also play a part in keeping the workshop running smoothly, maintaining accurate records, and delivering work to a consistent standard.

Our client is a long-established independent garage based in Lincoln, known locally for their honesty, technical capability, and the quality of their workmanship. They handle MOTs (Class 4 and 7), general repairs, diagnostics, and regular servicing for a broad customer base.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
Saturdays: 1 in every 3, 08:30 - 13:00
