Job summary

Halfords Garage Services is expanding at our Fusion centre, offering a first-class customer experience and a supportive working environment. As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will service and repair vehicles, carry out diagnostics and tackle complex tasks such as clutch and timing belt replacements and electrical work.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Experience performing diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repair/replacement work on vehicles.
• Carry out diagnostics and more complex repairs (clutches, timing belts, electrical).

This is a really exciting time to join our Halfords Garage Services team. You will be working at one of our new Fusion centres; it will be upgraded with the latest facilities to lead the way in providing a first-class customer experience and a great working environment.

As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You'll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical).
