Job summary

Halfords Bristol is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our Autocentres Fusion centre. You will service and repair vehicles, perform diagnostics, and progress to more complex tasks including clutches and timing belt replacements, plus diagnostics in electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.

You’ll work five days a week with an uncapped monthly bonus and the opportunity to progress with ATA & MOT Tester qualifications, receiving generous benefits and discounts as part of Halfords’

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical).

Responsibilities

• As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work.
• You’ll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.

• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,600 per year
