Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for our Fusion centre. You will service and repair vehicles, including complex tasks such as clutches, timing belts, and diagnostics, using the latest facilities to deliver a first-class customer experience.

This is a full-time role, five days a week, at our new Fusion centre in the UK. We offer a base salary of £35,000 with on-target earnings up to £41,700, plus an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,700 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience diagnosing brakes, steering/suspension, engines and related systems.
• Ability to carry out complex repairs (clutches, timing belts, electrical work).

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Carry out diagnostics and more complex repairs (clutches, belts, electrics).
• Work at Fusion centre with modern facilities to deliver top customer experience.

As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You'll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.
