Job description

Responsibilities
  • You will perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
  • You will use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair for light and heavy goods vehicles.
  • You will have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
Qualifications
  • Qualified mechanic: fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent) and have your own toolkit for standard repairs.
  • Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, e.g., LCV/HGV.
  • Valid UK driving licence: full manual UK driving licence, preferably HGV licence with trailer experience for Heavy Technicians.
  • High working standards: take pride in your work and ensure quality.
  • Flexible to service demands: able to work on a flexible shift rota and support your team where necessary.

Working Hours
  • Full time – 39.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30)
  • Required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a weekday day off)
