• Fully qualified mechanic to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle).
• Proven experience working on a wide range of vehicles, like LCV and HGV.
• Preferably hold an HGV licence with trailer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures on vehicles.
• Use personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair on light/heavy goods vehicles.
• Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern workshops.

Job Summary

We’re recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at Coventry Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn over £70,000 per annum including overtime.

Working Hours

Full time – 39.5 hours per week. Flexible start times available between 06:00 and 08:00, Monday to Friday, working 8h 24m per day. Saturday working will be required on a rotational basis.

About You

• Qualified mechanic: you’re fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent). You’ve got your own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, for example LCV / HGV.
• Valid UK driving licence: You hold a full manual UK driving licence, preferably an HGV licence with trailer experience for Heavy technicians.
• Flexible to service demands: you’re able to work on a flexible shift rota. You’re always willing to support your team where necessary.
