Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a leading car garage in Chertsey.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties
  • Conducting vehicle diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, including high-performance models
  • Rebuilding engines and gearboxes with precision and care
  • Performing mechanical repairs and maintenance to the highest standards
  • Completing electrical and electronic fault finding
  • Taking engine components apart and working through complex mechanical procedures
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications
Requirements
  • Proven experience in automotive repairs and diagnostics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in engine and gearbox rebuilds
  • Competence in electronic fault diagnosis
  • Qualified Motor Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience with motorsport or high-performance vehicles is advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Reliable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence

The salary of this role is up to £45,000 basic.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - no weekends!
