Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic based in Bangor to service and repair vehicles, including more complex tasks like clutch and timing-belt replacements and diagnostics. You will work on electrics, brakes, steering and suspension, using your Level 3 LV Maintenance & Repair or time-served experience and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair/replacement work on vehicles.
• Carry out more complex tasks such as clutch and timing belt replacements and diagnostics.
• Work on vehicle electrics, brakes, steering and suspension systems.

As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You'll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.

• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical)
