Qualifications

• Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent required.
• Full driver's licence with no more than 9 points is necessary.
• Experience in delivering interim and major services and relevant repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services on vehicles.
• Perform repairs and replacements on brakes, transmission and suspension.
• Participate in training and career progression opportunities.

Job description

Vehicle Service Technician - Halfords

Join Halfords As a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full and major services as well as any follow up repair and replacement work. Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.

Compensation and Bonus

• £29,607 per annum
• Average uncapped bonus of £3,600 per year (with potential to earn more)

Working Hours

5 days a week (This centre is closed on Sundays)

Skills and Experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
