Igloo Ltd in England is seeking a Vehicle Services Advisor to join the client’s automotive team based in Long Bennington. You will help manage vehicle logistics, track vehicles through the repair process and provide timely updates to service teams and clients.

The role involves liaising with technicians, keeping systems up to date, and prioritising workloads to meet deadlines. Weekly pay and onsite parking are among the offered benefits.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor vehicles through the repair process in the PDI department.

• Communicate progress updates to relevant departments or customer service teams.
• Assist in prioritising workloads to meet deadlines and targets.
• Conduct regular checks on vehicles in the workshop to ensure work progresses as planned.
• Support efficient workflow and minimise downtime.
• Communicate with clients and provide updates on vehicle deliveries.

The Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role within the efficient running of the vehicle logistics team and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below tasks:

• Working within the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) department to track and monitor the progress of vehicles through the repair process
• Liaise with technicians, parts departments, and management to ensure timely completion of work
• Identify delays or issues and escalap them promptly
• Update internal systems and maintain accurate job status records
• Communicate progress updates to relevant departments or customer service teams
• Assist in prioritising workloads to meet deadlines and targets

The Person:

• Previous experience in an automotive or workshop environment is preferred
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach
• Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
• Basic IT skills, including emails and spreadsheets
• Must have Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle due to site location.
