Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Manchester seeks a skilled coach fitter to perform fitting and installation tasks for emergency service vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using hand and power tools and the ability to read technical drawings. This full-time position offers £27,378 plus overtime within a supportive working environment and long-term employment prospects. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a 2 pm finish on Fridays.

Adecco Manchester are looking for a coach fitter who is confident in using hand and power tools to join our clients established and expanding manufacturing company. If you have used tools for fitting or installation in some capacity, we would like to hear from you. The opportunity will provide long term employment and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fitting and installation tasks for emergency service vehicles using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, saws, spanners)
  • Installing panels, floors, equipment etc
  • Accurately follow technical drawings, instructions, and specifications.
  • Work efficiently in a busy workshop/manufacturing setting.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
What We're Looking For
  • Hands‑on experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
  • Previous experience in a hands‑on role – preferably where installation or fitting is required.
