Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Vascular Studies Pathway Navigator to join the Vascular Studies Service. You will be the welcoming front of house and a key link between patients and clinicians, coordinating appointments and guiding patients through their care pathways.

Responsibilities include managing the front desk, booking appointments, updating electronic medical records, and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality across Cerner/EPR, CRIS and PACS.

Qualifications

• Experience front of house reception and patient navigation.
• Proven ability to manage digital hospital records and data confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Front of House Reception: greet patients, check-in for vascular scans, manage clinic flow.
• Patient Navigation: coordinate appointments to minimise hospital visits.
• System & Record Management: update Cerner/EPR, CRIS, PACS accurately.
• Pathway Tracking: monitor referrals and test results to keep patients on the correct path.
